Abstract

This article focuses on Uzbek literature such poetic works as "Qadrdon quyosh", "Shahardagi olma daraxti", "Tungi bog’lar", "To’marisning ko’zlari", "Samarkand xayoli", historical works such as "Samarkand xayoli", "Sohibqiron nabirasi", "Shahidlar shohi". In the story "There was no sun in the sky" by Khurshid Davron, the author of stage plays such as "Baburshah", "Mirzo Ulug'bek" - "Algul", the story "Osmonda quyosh yo’q edi" is devoted to the analysis of the issue of interpretation of the era and historical person. The historical theme is considered one of the main themes in the writer's work, and in his works depicting the characters of Bibikhanim and Mirzo Ulug'bek, historical figures and scenes of the era are painted in bright colors. The unique aspects of the writer's work were also studied in order to perfectly illuminate the historical conditions and the image of the literary hero.
